Former Notre Dame defensive end NaNa Osafo-Mensah announced his commitment on social media on Friday, marking TCU Football’s second commitment from the transfer portal this offseason. The Fort Worth Nolan Catholic product played in all 12 games in 2023 and finished with 20 total tackles, including 5.5 for loss and 3 sacks. He spent five seasons in South Bend with the Fighting Irish.

Osafo-Mensah will have the chance to make an impact right away for TCU in 2024, since the Horned Frogs lost highly anticipated Edge prospect Jonathan Bax to the transfer portal, defensive lineman Rick D’Abreu, Trenton Dickey, and Soni Misi to graduation. He joins Louisiana Tech offensive lineman Carson Bruno as the second member of the TCU transfer class.
