BREAKING NEWS: Raptors are ready to give out £28.7 million for……..

exchange for Dejounte Murray.

It is anticipated that Siakam and Murray will be dealt before the February NBA trade deadline.
This summer, Siakam becomes an unrestricted free agent in the NBA. Despite shooting 52.3% from the field, 29.7% from beyond the arc, and 75.5% from the foul line this season, he’s averaging 22.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks. Siakam is among the NBA’s top forwards.
Murray, on the other hand, is shooting 46.7% from the field, 38.4% from outside the arc, and 80.7% from the free-throw line this season while averaging 20.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.3 blocks. He is among the NBA’s best two-way players.
Murray earns $17.7 million, compared to $37.9 million for Siakam. In July, Murray inked a four-year, $114 million contract extension with the Hawks. Murray’s salary for the 2024–25 NBA season is $24.8 million.

Raptors stats: 15–21. According to the Eastern Conference standings, they are ranked eleventh. On December 30, Toronto sent RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the New York Knicks in exchange for OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa, and Malachi Flynn.

Hawks record is 14–21. According to the Eastern Conference standings, they are in 12th position. NBA insider Marc Stein claims that the two players on the team who are untouchable in trade talks are Jalen Johnson and Trae Young.
The Sacramento Kings and Raptors had explored trading Siakam for Harrison Barnes, but the deal fell through after Siakam informed them he would not re-sign. If the NBA champion conveys the same message to the Hawks, they most likely won’t trade for Siakam.
