It was a scrappy effort from Missouri, but the Cats were able to pull away and secure the victory, largely thanks to Rob Dillingham.
Well, it’s back. The consistency of Kentucky Basketball playing every Tuesday is here for the next couple of months, and it’s glorious.
Rob Dillingham made a statement last night with his best game in a Wildcats uniform, scoring 23 points. He was even called the best isolation player in the country by Dennis Gates.
Hard to argue there; he’s so shifty, can score from anywhere on the court, including hitting deep dagger threes, and has handles like very few in the country.
While the offense is great, there’s no ignoring the issues this team continues to have on the defensive end of the court.
Constant blow-bys and not getting their hand up too often on three-point shots. It’s something that I think they will figure out, but it needs to happen sooner rather than later with the way the SEC is shaping up.
Their next game is slated against the 9-5 Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday at 2 pm ET, and it will be their second road conference game.
