ESPN Reporter Says It’s “In Play” That Eagles Fire Coach Sirianni

Even though ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on January 3rd that Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni’s job was secure, there are currently rumors circulating that Sirianni’s termination may occur.

Tim McManus, the ESPN Eagles reporter, appeared with Sheil Kapadia on the Ringer podcast “Philly Special” on Wednesday, January 10. As they conversed, Kapadia posed McManus with “Seven Burning Questions” regarding the circumstances in Philadelphia, and it was undoubtedly Nick Sirianni’s employment that came up.

Considering how extraordinary the Eagles’ decline was, McManus remarked, “They might end up moving on.” I feel like it’s in play, but I’m not sure if I want to say that’s the most likely.

McManus’ Quotation Has Drawn A Lot of Interest

The rumor and quote are currently making the rounds on social media. Philly supporters have been commenting on everything from Sirianni roasts about the team’s recent struggles to wondering how Eagles executives could remove such a good coach. Oddly, there is merit to both points of view.
