Defensive tackle Aaron Donald for the Los Angeles Rams secured his spot yet again on the Pro Football Writers of America All-NFL Team for the eighth time in his career.

This achievement marked a significant milestone as it surpassed the previous tie with Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy White for the most PFWA first-team All-NFL selections by a defensive tackle (considering the PFWA’s selection of a first and second All-NFL team from 1968-76).

Donald showcased his dominance with eight sacks, 53 total tackles (16 for loss), and 23 QB hits throughout the regular season, starting in all 16 games (with rest in Week 18). This outstanding performance earned him his 10th-consecutive Pro Bowl selection and later the title of First-Team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

Additionally, Donald was selected to the second-annual NFLPA Players’ All-Pro team. On the PFWA All-NFL 2023 team, a total of 10 players are first-time honorees including Kyren Williams.

In the All-NFL offense lineup, the running back position features the Rams’ Kyren Williams, earning his first selection to the prestigious team.

This recognition places him alongside standout players like Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, George Kittle, Travis Kelce, Zack Martin, Joe Thuney, Penei Sewell, and other top talents who have made their mark on the field.

Williams emerged as one of the 10 first-time All-NFL honorees this year. Despite playing in only 12 games (missing four due to injury and resting in Week 18), he earned his first Pro Bowl nod and a Second-Team All-Pro recognition from the AP. Williams finished the regular season third in the NFL in rushing yards (1,144) and tied for fifth among all running backs in rushing touchdowns (12).

Notably, he achieved the unique distinction of being the first player in NFL history to finish in the Top 3 in rushing yards while missing five or more games, according to NFL research. Williams also became the Rams’ first 1,000-yard rusher since Todd Gurley in 2018.
