The drama that’s been surrounding the Husker QB room for the past few weeks came to an end Monday with the bombshell news that Dylan Raiola has switched his commitment from the Georgia Bulldogs to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

How sweet it is!

The rippling effects of his decision likely will be felt over the next several years, or at least as long as Dylan stays at Nebraska.

Dylan’s commitment comes at a time in which the Husker QB room was looking every day like a soap opera.

First it was former Ohio State Buckeye five-star QB Kyle McCord visiting Nebraska a week ago to see if NU might be a good fit for him. But the day he arrived on campus, word got out that Dylan was going to make another official visit to Nebraska.

Of course everyone knows Raiola is the son of former Husker O-line great Dominic Raiola and the nephew of current Husker offensive line coach Donovan Raiola.
