Tyler Bertuzzi gave a performance that was just remarkable. The forward, who signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract this past summer, scored a hat trick against the 2022 Stanley Cup champions to record his first multi-goal game in the regular season in over two years.
As the player of the game, Domi was given a wrestling belt by professional wrestler and self-described Leafs fan Adam Copeland. After that, as the club boarded their aircraft back to Toronto following a four-game road trip, Max Domi, another free agency acquisition from the summer, turned to social media to serenade Bertuzzi with a song of “Happy Birthday.
