Although Jason Kelce has formally announced his retirement from the NFL, he is not entirely content with his choice.
With his announcement of retirement on Monday, 36-year-old Kelce effectively ended his 13-year NFL career.
He will go down as one of the greatest offensive linemen in Philadelphia Eagles history and is probably on his way to Canton.

But in light of how the Eagles’ season ended badly, Kelce stated on his New Heights podcast that he only regrets one thing about his decision to stop his career.
Jason Kelce told his brother Travis, “The one thing I’m disappointed about retiring right now is that I’m retiring at a time when the Eagles had maybe the biggest collapse in the organization’s history.” Not conceivably, most likely.

I’m upset about it because I genuinely believe the Eagles will perform poorly the next season. I believe that all those guys still possess a great deal of talent. They have two excellent new hires who will be able to provide new insight and a different perspective.

Although I believe Jalen Hurts to be an excellent quarterback, neither he nor any other offensive player had a great season finale. However, there are still a ton of parts. Plenty of cap space is available. I have no doubt that Howie will take action to correct the items that need to be corrected.
“I simply believe that the Philadelphia Eagles will have a tremendous comeback the following season.” And it hurts me so much that I will somehow be involved. I will continue to visit the institutions and offer my assistance in any manner that I can. However, I’ll be doing other things except playing on the field with those people.

Kelce said goodbye to his family, including his brother Travis, in a heartfelt ceremony.
In front of Travis, his parents Ed and Donna, and his wife Kylie, Jason announced his retirement from the game during a tearful ceremony.
Longtime coaches and executives were among the many other members of the Eagles organization present.
Jason exits with one Super Bowl LII championship ring, seven Pro Bowl appearances, and six first-team All-Pro team selections.
