Newcastle United co-owner Jamie Reuben admits he was “disappointed” with the 3-2 defeat against Chelsea.

United equalised as half-time neared when Alexander Isak found the net with a curling finish. However, the Blues restored their advantage just before the hour-mark through Palmer’s drilled shot.
Substitute Mykhailo Mudryk made it 3-1 after breezing into the penalty area. Jacob Murphy, who replaced the injured Anthony Gordon in the first-half, pulled one back for United via a stunning strike but Chelsea held out.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men moved one point behind Newcastle in 10th with a game in-hand as the race for European qualification, which also includes Manchester United, West Ham, Brighton and Hove Albion and Wolves, hots up.
