Will West Ham United sign a new striker in the summer transfer window?

It remains to be seen whether West Ham will be able to challenge the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham for David’s signature this summer, but the Canadian forward has impressed this season and would be an excellent addition for the Irons.

The 24-year-old has scored 14 goals in 21 Ligue 1 starts this season, having found the net 26 times in 40 league matches last season and would finally offer a solution to Moyes’ side’s struggles in the final third that has proven costly this year.

While Jarrod Bowen has impressed as a central striker, the England international is at his best when deployed in a wide role and Michail Antonio has shown that he isn’t the regular source of goals teams that are challenging for Europe need.
