Everton: A £75 million price tag for the superstar who is desperate to depart is revealed amid interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

Everton: Jarrad Branthwaite transfer value emerges amid Manchester United and Chelsea interestEverton defender Jarrad Branthwaite will not reach a £75million price tag in the summer transfer window.

That is according to Dean Jones, with the journalist explaining that there is plenty of intrigue in the player from Manchester United and Chelsea.

The centre-back, who spent last season on loan at PSV, has made 31 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees this time around.

“For Man United and Chelsea there is plenty of intrigue around Everton’s young star,” Jones wrote for GIVEMESPORT (17 March). “There have been reports recently that suggest a £75million price tag but indications from GMS sources have suggested that Branthwaite is not going to reach that level this summer. United really do like him and it is that homegrown, Premier League experience that counts for so much here.

“At Chelsea there is a feeling they will look to sign someone older than Branthwaite or Ousmane Diomande because of the leadership skills they will be missing after Thiago Silva leaves, but Branthwaite is going to grow into that player.”

Where will Everton ace Jarrad Branthwaite end up this summer?Everton: Jarrad Branthwaite transfer value emerges amid Manchester United and Chelsea interest

It is only March, but there is already plenty of talk regarding Branthwaite and a Goodison Park exit this summer.

Sean Dyche will undoubtedly, however, be ignoring all of the talk, as will Branthwaite, with the pair focused on the club’s Premier League survival.

Having only narrowly avoided the drop in the last few seasons, the Goodison Park outfit are once again in a relegation battle.

But one shining light in an otherwise miserable campaign has been the displays of their young central defender.

Branthwaite has formed a solid partnership with James Tarkowski at the back, and the interest in the former is certainly not surprising.

He may just have a long list of clubs targeting his signature in the summer transfer window, but given Everton’s financial problems, it may just come down to whoever can offer the most money.

Chelsea and Manchester United have emerged as the strongest options at this stage, but there is, of course, every chance that Branthwaite will remain at Goodison Park.

In other Everton news, the Toffees have been slammed by Martin Keown on talkSPORT, with a “really toxic” verdict shared.
