Fantastic news: these Chelsea players are scheduled to showcase their skills in multiple nations. As the global pause resumes

As the international break returns, there are a plethora of Chelsea players jetting off to represent their respective nations.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo will be preparing for the long journeys to South America to take part in World Cup qualifying action for Argentina and Ecuador respectively

However, for players heading across Europe it could be the last chance they have to impress their international managers ahead of selection for the upcoming European Championships this summer.

Chelsea players representing their countries

England are one of the countries who will be well represented by Chelsea players this week, and that is even with Levi Colwill ruled out of selection due to injury after his recent call-ups.

Ben Chilwell has recovered from his recent knock to make the squad, as he looks to nail down one of the left-back spots that are up for grabs.

With Luke Shaw not named in the squad, there is a great chance for him to make a point to Gareth Southgate.

However, the in-form player at Stamford Bridge who will be looking to make a statement is Cole Palmer.

Palmer has chance to impress for England

Considering he is well on the way to 30 combined goals and assists in his first season as a regular first team player, there is every reason he should believe that he has a chance at being a starter for the national team.

With friendlies against top sides such as Brazil and Belgium, there is a real chance that he can prove that he can do it on the biggest stage too.

There will certainly be competition in the area he is looking to break into. The likes of Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden are enjoying equally as good individual campaigns for their own clubs.

However, there is not much more Palmer could have done this season to prove he deserves the chance, and what Chelsea fans have seen so far suggests he could easily make this step up for his nation too.
