Dejan Kulusevski has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent wingers over the last two years, with 13 goals and 19 assists in 86 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions.
The Swede has impressed against the best of the best during his time in England. Kulusevski marked his first start with a goal and assist in a dramatic win over Manchester City.
Kulusevski has come up against Liverpool on four occasions since his move from Juventus. In that time, Tottenham have registered one win, drawn one and lost two. Of course, Spurs won that contentious game in North London earlier this season.

“Van Dijk, and then fast players. You know when someone is really fast it can be annoying,” he said.

Obviously, it is never that surprising when anyone picks out van Dijk as their hardest opponent. The Dutchman has been the centre-back who has set the standard in the Premier League, particularly ever since he joined Liverpool in 2018.
His arrival proved to be a massive moment in Liverpool’s recent history. Along with Alisson Becker, the deal for van Dijk allowed Jurgen Klopp‘s men to take that next step and become a real force for Manchester City to go up against.
Van Dijk has won virtually everything in a Liverpool shirt, including the Premier League and the Champions League. There is a very good chance that he completes the set this season, with Liverpool still in the Europa League.
Van Dijk’s Carabao Cup final display will be talked about for years to come, with the 32-year-old heading home the extra-time winner when it appeared that Liverpool had become underdogs.
And if you asked many of the Premier League’s attackers, there is a good chance that plenty would echo Kulusevski’s answer when it comes to their toughest opponent.
