Everton: Farhad Moshiri orders the “farcical” takeover process to halt as an administration allegation is made

Everton: Farhad Moshiri told to end 'farcical' takeover saga as administration claim madeThe Esk has told Farhad Moshiri to bring the Everton takeover saga surrounding 777 Partners to an end.

Writing on Twitter on Friday (22 March), the Toffees financial expert said the club finds itself in this “farcical purgatory” after the owner agreed a deal with the US investment firm for his shares back in September.

It added that the Iranian businessman must now open up to other potential buyers as it warned the only alternative will be administration as the Blues can’t continue living hand to mouth and relying on loans every month.

Farhad Moshiri must find answer for Everton

It’s becoming clearer by the day that 777 is incredibly unlikely to complete a takeover at Everton after the situation has dragged on for months.

It appears as though the Premier League is sceptical about handing the company the necessary approval on the back of the several negative reports that have emerged.

There are just far too many questions surrounding the group and its finances for the governing body to green-light the deal at Goodison Park.

That means Moshiri must open the Toffees back up to any potential interested parties, which there are still believed to be.

After the Blues’ financial situation has continued to deteriorate in recent months, it’s surely time for the owner to step up now to avoid the club’s long-term future being in doubt.
