Everton CEO Colin Chong has confirmed that the 777 Partners or Farhad Moshiri will not provide detailed commentary until the Premier League ruling.
He told the club’s website on 29 March that the hearing has taken place and the decision on the Profitability and Sustainability fiasco is expected in the early weeks of April.
Chong also understands the uncertainty it has created for the fanbase at Goodison Park.
He said: “Our hearing has taken place, and the timeline introduced by an amendment to the Premier League rules last summer ensures a ruling from the commission board should be received in the early weeks of April.
“As I know you will appreciate and understand, I am not able to share specific details relating to the charge we face, or the commission process. But what I can share with you is my understanding of the uncertainty it has created for every Evertonian.
“Out of respect for that process and aside from affirmations of a collective commitment to complete the transaction, Mr Moshiri and 777 Partners have deliberately not provided detailed running commentary during the regulatory review period. And that must remain the case until the process has concluded.”
