Detail News as the CEO of Everton, has stated that neither Farhad Moshiri nor 777 Partners will offer in-depth analysis prior to the Premier League decision.

Everton: Colin Chong issues Farhad Moshiri and 777 Partners takeover claimEverton CEO Colin Chong has confirmed that the 777 Partners or Farhad Moshiri will not provide detailed commentary until the Premier League ruling.

He told the club’s website on 29 March that the hearing has taken place and the decision on the Profitability and Sustainability fiasco is expected in the early weeks of April.

Chong also understands the uncertainty it has created for the fanbase at Goodison Park.

He said: “Our hearing has taken place, and the timeline introduced by an amendment to the Premier League rules last summer ensures a ruling from the commission board should be received in the early weeks of April.

“As I know you will appreciate and understand, I am not able to share specific details relating to the charge we face, or the commission process. But what I can share with you is my understanding of the uncertainty it has created for every Evertonian.

“Out of respect for that process and aside from affirmations of a collective commitment to complete the transaction, Mr Moshiri and 777 Partners have deliberately not provided detailed running commentary during the regulatory review period. And that must remain the case until the process has concluded.”

Everton fans must remain patient amid the PSR and takeoverEverton: Colin Chong issues Farhad Moshiri and 777 Partners takeover claim updates

In a rather detailed statement, Chong has provided insight into the challenging circumstances the club is navigating, including ongoing regulatory processes, financial scrutiny and a fluctuating league position.

Toffees fans must remain patient and supportive during this period of uncertainty.

The delay in the post-Moshiri era takeover underscores the complexity of the process and the need for thorough approval from relevant authorities.

Evertonians have to now trust in the new board’s dedication to steer the club forward, both on and off the field, with confidence that clarity will emerge in due course.

Hopefully, the message from Chong instils optimism by highlighting the unwavering support of fans and the promising prospects ahead, fostering a sense of unity and resilience within the community.

There is surely bound to be some uncertainty but that’s how things go in football and there is no other option.
