Excelsior striker and Tottenham loanee Troy Parrott may not be back from injury before the season ends, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that in case it’s a worst-case scenario with his quad setback, it could be a full rupture.

Discussing the state of play with Parrott exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “The best case here is likely a Grade 2 out of 4 injury which could be just a few weeks and the worst case would be a Grade 4 rupture which is months out.
“The former is a partial tear and the latter, a full rupture.
“He has not played since the start of March and was also pulled out of the international squad.
“It does look like a serious one and if he’s not back by mid April, there is a chance it could be him out for months, prematurely ending his season.“
Can Parrott be a first-team player for Tottenham in 2024/25?
Parrott has done a decent job on loan this season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 21 league games.
While he is a centre forward by trade, he can also play off the left wing or as a number 10.
Given Ange Postecoglou’s penchant for versatile attacking players, he may want to see what the Irishman can offer in pre season. As of now, the primary focus for Parrott and Spurs must be to ensure that he undergoes a proper recovery.
