Jim White made a shocking prediction about Everton as Chelsea documents are set to be released.

Everton, Nottingham Forest and Chelsea will have more clarity over their current financial “state of play” next week, according to Jim White.

The Toffees have recently been hit with a second point deduction of the season for breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, plunging them straight back into relegation trouble under Sean Dyche.

While there have been suggestions that Everton could be hit with a third deduction if they avoid the drop this season, talkSPORT host White has insisted supporters will know more about the Toffees’ spending by next week.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Friday (12 April, 11:28) he said: “I’m right in thinking we will know a lot more next week about the current state of play for the likes of Everton, Forest, and Chelsea’s 2022/23 accounts should be out next week.

“We’re looking at a busy week next week in terms of where Everton, Forest and Chelsea actually are because of previous spending, so you don’t want to miss out on that.”

Will Everton be hit with a third point deduction for financial fair play breaches?

The Toffees have had to contend with a ridiculous amount of off-the-field drama so far this season, with point deductions only half of the problem as 777 Partners’ attempted takeover continues to rumble on at Goodison

That has made it incredibly hard for Dyche and his side to focus on matters on the pitch, but the Toffees have done all that they can to drag themselves out of the dogfight at the bottom of the table despite constant setbacks.

Supporters will feel as though they are being left in the dark by the likes of Farhad Moshiri and those around him at Goodison Park as there have been very few concrete updates from the club over Everton’s financial position.

Hopefully, White will be correct and some clarity will emerge in the coming days so that supporters know exactly what is going on in the blue half of Merseyside. Whether the news is good or bad, it is better if fans are kept in the loop.
