After the game, James Worthy, a Hall-of-Famer, went on Spectrum SportsNet. He compared Jokic to two Lakers legends.

“To me, [Jokic] is Magic Johnson and Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] on the floor at the same time,” said Worthy. “He’s a guard. He makes great decisions. Hell of a passer. Worthy knows what he”s talking about. He played alongside Magic and Kareem for seven years. He won three championships with them.

Jokic got named as one of the final three contenders for the NBA MVP award on Sunday. Many think he”ll win. If he does, he”d have three MVP trophies.

Only eight players, including Johnson and Abdul-Jabbar, have won three or more NBA MVP awards.
