This month, 777 Partners is set to pay Everton an additional eight-figure sum.

Shamoon Hafez has shared details on a further eight-figure payment 777 Partners are set to make to Everton before the end of the month.

The BBC Sports journalist posted on his personal X account [23 April] that 777 will put a further £15million directly into the club in the next week.

That will take the amount the American investment fund has loaned to Everton to around £201m, despite the takeover not yet going through.

That is not even mentioning the fact that 777 are having to find alternative revenue streams, so there is a fear the money could dry up.

Either way, Everton are not in a great financial position right now. The only real positive is that Premier League survival now looks very likely.

If the club can ride through this storm, hopefully the future is a lot brighter – with or without 777 Partners’ backing.
