Whether or not Tottenham Hotspur make it into the Champions League for next season, it seems that Ange Postecoglou is intent on making a sensational triple swoop of players.
The Australian can be rightly proud of how his team have performed throughout the current campaign, and whilst they’ve tailed off a little towards to end of it, looking at 2023/24 overall, particularly when comparing it to the Antonio Conte era, it’s been a big success.
Postecoglou has brought the Tottenham way back into vogue. No more defensive and stale football, but front foot, attacking and free-flowing fare that’s been a joy to watch at times
It’s not perfect of course and a number of teams have been able to counter Spurs’ way of playing, leading to nine losses so far this season.
