Fans were unified in their views after seeing Mike Tyson rehearse before his bout with Jake Paul.

Fans all saying same thing after seeing Mike Tyson training before Jake Paul fightIt’s not often that we get to witness the comeback of a former legend of sport, but it’s about to happen.

Mike Tyson, 57, is making his return to the ring on 20 July to try his hand against 27-year-old YouTuber Jake Paul in a live event that will be streamed on Netflix.

However, after seeing videos of Iron Mike training for the fight, fans have all been saying the same thing.

As boxing’s youngest heavyweight champion, Tyson was 20 years old when he won the title.

Then, following years of fights, wins and even losses, he retired from the sport in 2005.

But maybe it was the constant online badgering from the former Disney channel star which caused the champ to decide to pick up his gloves and go another round.

It’s well known that Paul, known for his YouTube pranks and short-lived rap career, has been talking loudly online about the people he wanted to come up against in the ring.

However, his boxing record is currently 9-1, having only lost to Tommy Fury in 2023.

Tyson? He hasn’t professionally fought since 2005 with one charity stint in 2020 against Roy Jones Jr, which ended a draw.

But millions of Netflix subscribers and 80,000 people at Texas’ AT&T Stadium will be eagerly watching the brawl.

Even though a lot of people are excited, after Tyson released footage of his training sessions, fans were incredulous.

All the videos were under 20 seconds and featured him furiously battering pads with his trainer Rafael Cordeiro.Fans all saying same thing after seeing Mike Tyson training before Jake Paul fight

And it’s the length of that clips that have set tongues wagging.

One X user said: “Now slow tape down to real-time.”

Another wrote: “5 seconds clips everywhere.”

While a third added: “There’s a reason this is just 6 seconds long.”

But others were happy for Tyson and his choice to make a comeback.

One commented: “Wouldn’t step in the ring with Mike even if he was pushing 80!”

A second wrote: “Absolutely legend, Iron Mike shows the world that men can be super fit at 57 years old. Respect.”

Someone else remarked: “Jake Paul should be worried, unless it’s rigged.”

And another penned: “Jake doesn’t stand a chance.”

Ahead of the fight, Tyson said: “I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.

“It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”

Last month, Paul admitted that he loves Tyson, but it doesn’t change his goal, tweeting: “I love Mike Tyson. Legend. Honored to share the ring with him. But the legend has stated he intends to end my career… so what do you think I’m going to do on Saturday July 20?”
