Fury looks to become the first undisputed heavyweight world champion since Lennox Lewis this weekend when he fights Usyk in Saudi Arabia
Tyson Fury will be fined a massive £10million if he pulls out of his undisputed world title fight with Oleksandr Usyk again.
Heavyweight champion Fury is just days away from his mega-fight with Usyk, which takes place this Saturday in Saudi Arabia. The winner will become the first man since Lennox Lewis in 1999 to hold all four major heavyweight world titles. The fight was supposed to take place in February, but Fury pulled out 10 days before the scheduled date after being cut above his eye in sparring.
- Saudi royal advisor Turki Alalshikh has promised to fine Fury or Usyk £10million if this weekend’s undisputed fight is cancelled again. “It was our request when we were negotiating,” Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas said. “We said to the Saudis, if you are going to move the fight, make sure you include the penalty.”
