Sean Dyche provides the most recent update on Jack Harrison’s transfer to Everton.

Sean Dyche stance on full Jack Harrison transfer at Everton sharedSean Dyche wants to keep Jack Harrison at Goodison Park as the Leeds United loanee’s Everton deal is set to expire, according to Daily Mirror.

The newspaper reported [13 May, page 11 of football pullout] that the Toffees boss wants to make the 27-year-old’s deal permanent ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Harrison looks to have played his final game for Everton this season after Dyche confirmed he could be out for the season finale against Arsenal, having missed the 1-0 over Sheffield United through injury.

“Dyche wants to keep Jack Harrison, who has scored four goals and contributed three assists, and the winger, who is out with a hamstring injury, is due to return to Leeds when his loan expires,” they wrote.

Will Jack Harrison return to Everton next season?

Harrison is in a real state of flux as things stand, with Leeds unlikely to want him to remain a part of their squad and Everton’s financial situation making a full transfer unclear.

However, the winger looks right at home under Dyche at Goodison Park, and could very much become a permanent Evertonian this summer if funds allow and especially if Leeds are unable to secure Premier League promotion via the playoffs.

Of course, Everton must sort out their financial issues and the takeover uncertainty before they can begin to think about summer signings, but it seems the two parties are a perfect fit for each other.
