In an effort to sign an Everton midfield player before them, the club is working hard.

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor are the latest club to be linked with Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The Nigeria international will be out of contract with the Foxes at the end of the month and there’s also been reported interest from Everton.

Sporx have reported on Ndidi’s future following new claims Trabzonspor are keen to sign the central midfielder.

It’s reported their president Ertugrul Doğan is working hard to bring in players and that he’s made the 27-year-old his priority.

However, Sporx say the Super Lig side will face competition from other clubs to sign the player with Everton being one of those. Lyon and Galatasaray are said to be also keen.

There have been recent reports in the UK media that Everton are considering bringing in Ndidi due to the uncertainty over Amadou Onana’s future

The Belgian international has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer.

Ndidi made 36 appearances for Leicester City last season, scoring 6 goals.
