Ty Bracey believes that signing Amadou Onana would be perfect for Aston Villa next season as a further addition to squad depth.
The Villans have approached Everton to sign the Belgian international this summer, according to The Times (14 June)
The Toffees are looking to sell him before 30 June in order to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.
Villa podcaster Bracey has urged Villa to sign Onana this summer as Unai Emery prepares his squad for a heavily congested season.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I think that would be a great signing. He’s one of Everton’s standout players
Looking at the fan reaction to the links, he isn’t somebody they want to let go. If you see that online then you know that the fans are fond of the player which is always a good sign.
“I don’t think depth is a bad thing, next season there will be more rotation, especially with the Champions League so it’ll be good to have those options.
