Leafs General Manager talks about Robertson’s trade request, Tavares and Marner extensions following a busy day of signings.

While Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving used the first day of free agency to take care of his defence and goaltending, there are a few issues among his forwards that he would rather not deal with publicly.

It has been reported that young winger Nick Robertson would like to be traded. He is unhappy with how he’s being used in Toronto, even though the team issued a qualifying offer to retain his rights. He scored 14 goals in 56 games last season, mostly during limited 5-on-5 play.
