Sources issue Ndiaye-Everton update with 100% claim made

Everton are close to confirming the signing of Iliman Ndiaye.

The Toffees have already agreed a deal to sign the 24-year-old attacking midfielder who has agreed a five-year contract at Goodison Park.

It was reported that Everton have paid in the region of £17 million, including add-ons, and Marseille have accepted those terms.

However, the Toffees did not register the signing last month, mainly to avoid the Premier League’s complex financial accounts.

Many fans have been worried about the state of the deal, but as the ever-reliable Alan Myers says, there’s nothing to panic about.

While responding to a query from a fan on X, the Sky Sports journalist has confirmed that – “Think it’s just getting done to be honest”.

In a separate tweet, Myers says that while he doesn’t have a concrete update at the moment, he expects confirmation to happen.

According to a recent report from TeamTalk, the transfer is 100 per cent done, and only the official confirmation is missing.Sources issue Ndiaye-Everton update with 100% claim made

Ndiaye could be an exciting addition for the Toffees. While his stint with the French club didn’t go according to plan, his spell with Sheffield United convinced the Toffees to take a chance on him.

He managed 14 goals and 10 assists in 46 games for the Blades in the Championship and has proved his quality by playing in multiple positions. He can play as a striker, a second striker, or a wide attacking midfielder and could be a utility player under Sean Dyche.

Everton have already signed Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa and Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds United, and Ndiaye will become the club’s third signing of the summer transfer window.
