Leeds United were previously linked with a move to sign 20-year-old attacking midfielder Mateusz Musialowski, who has now been released by Liverpool.
The Whites are yet to kick into top gear when it comes to transfers for the new season, having signed two players so far in Joe Rodon and Alex Cairns.
More is needed soon, with depth dwindling off the back of permanent exits for fringe players, even if there’s still a month until the start of the season.
Leeds linked with “Polish Messi” Mateusz Musialowski
Football Insider reported earlier in 2024 that Leeds were monitoring the situation of Liverpool attacking midfielder Mateusz Musialowski.
The Polish youngster was due to see his Anfield contract expire at the end of June with no sign of a new deal, as Leeds registered interest back in January.
Dubbed the “Polish Messi” by Merseyside media off the back of dazzling runs and great finishes in the Liverpool youth setup, Musialowski was catching the eye of several clubs previously this year.
