Everton may be forced to trade Jordan Pickford and other key players during the January transfer window.

If the Premier League rejects 777 Partners’ takeover, Everton may be obliged to sell its most valuable players during the January transfer window.

If the takeover of Everton is denied, the club’s key players might be placed on the transfer list as early as January.

Owner Farhad Moshiri is eager to terminate his tenure as primary owner, with excitement increasing about a prospective deal with 777 Partners earlier this month. However, it has subsequently been revealed that a number of Premier League owners are planning to raise concerns about 777 Partners’ financial source.

Furthermore, The Mirror reports that the club is concerned that the agreed-upon transfer of the 94% ownership will be rejected by the Premier League, FA, and Financial Conduct Authority.

777 Partners, created in 2018 by Steven Pasko and Josh Wander, is an American investment firm based in Miami that owns multiple sporting franchises. They have previously been chastised for the management of clubs such as Standard Liege and Hertha Berlin.

If the takeover is blocked, stars like Jordan Pickford (who Manchester United sought before signing Andre Onana), Amadou Onana, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could all be out in January.

Everton will go before an independent panel in October for an alleged violation of the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play rules. They had lost money for the fifth year in a row.

Sean Dyche is working with a very tight budget, hence the financial deficit throughout that time period is £430 million. Everton have already lost Alex Iwobi to Fulham and Moise Kean to Juventus, but they have signed Beto for roughly £25 million.

Everton won for the first time against Brentford after losing four of their first five Premier League games. The 3-1 away win brought some relief for fans, who are unsure where the club will stand when they relocate to their new stadium in 2024.
