LeBron James introduced and launched his latest portfolio, “Mind the Game” podcast, with former NBA player and ESPN personality JJ Redick on Tuesday. While listeners and viewers enjoyed episode one, one topic, particularly by the Los Angeles Lakers superstar about a rival team, has been trending.
LeBron James shared insights on rival Eastern Conference table toppers, the Boston Celtics. He first praised their star player, Jayson Tatum , for his elite mentality, which helps him win games consistently. And despite being 25 years old, he has done something that many past greats couldn’t achieve, reaching four conference finals and one NBA Finals.
James went further to share his thoughts on former Celtics players and the trade that brought Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis to the C’s.
One might assume the bag of Lays potato chips James referred to here were two former Boston Celtics players, Malcolm Brogdon and Robert Williams, who were part of the deal that brought Jrue Holiday from the Milwaukee Bucks. Both players have been instrumental in the Celtics’ strong case for a championship ring this season,
