Mason Greenwood of Getafe CF looks on during the LaLiga EA Sports match between Getafe CF and Girona FC at Coliseum Alfonso Perez on March 16, 2024 in Getafe, Spain.Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood has caught the eye of Juventus, who have reportedly shown interest in signing him this summer.

Greenwood has been shining while on loan at Getafe, attracting attention from top clubs across Europe. Getafe secured a loan deal with United on the last day of the summer transfer window to bring him to Spain.

The bigwigs at Estadio Coliseum have made it clear they’d love to keep Greenwood beyond this season. The England star has scored eight goals and set up five more in 27 games for Getafe, showing why he was so highly rated at United.

His performances have likely bumped up his price tag, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid linked with the 22-year-old. But it’s not just Spanish teams that are interested in the Red Devils’ academy graduate.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus are also interested in Greenwood, who has one England cap to his name. The Serie A team have been keeping a close eye on his situation, reports the Express.

He said the bosses at the club would chat about it when this season finishes, decide what they want to do with the player, and figure out whether both the team and supporters would be happy having him there.

Ratcliffe explained saying: “It’s quite clear we have to make a decision. There is no decision that’s been made. He’s on loan, obviously, but he’s not the only one. We’ve got one or two footballers that we have to deal with and we have to make a decision on, so we will do that.

“The process will be: understand the facts, not the hype, and then try and come to a fair decision on the basis of values. Is he a good guy or not? Could he play sincerely for Manchester United well? Would we be comfortable with it, and would the fans be comfortable with it?”
